To Be Filled With All The Fullness Of God

“and [that you may come] to know [practically, through personal experience] the love of Christ which far surpasses [mere] knowledge [without experience], that you may be filled up [throughout your being] to all the fullness of God [so that you may have the richest experience of God’s presence in your lives, completely filled and flooded with God Himself].” Ephesians 3:19 AMP

Paul’s prayer for the Ephesian church was that they would be able to comprehend what is the width and length and depth and height of Christ Jesus’ love for them (Ephesians 4:18) and by knowing the greatness of Jesus’ love for them, then naturally they would be filled with the fullness of God.

That is God’s desire for you! He wants you to KNOW, through personal experience, the love of Jesus so that you will be filled with all the fullness of God.

Do you find it hard to fully trust His love for you? Do you find it hard to believe that Jesus would love you with a love so great that it passes mere human knowledge? You’re not alone. A lot of people find it hard to fully grasp the love of Jesus for themselves because of their past experiences with those in their lives that have hurt them because they were only able to give them “human love”. Human love will always have faults. We as humans cannot love others with a perfect love that Jesus loves us with. So, unfortunately, we can get hurt by others. Or maybe you haven’t experienced “human love” but only abuse and neglect and pain and you are left questioning whether you are even lovable. Let me reassure you, you are lovable, valuable, and you matter!

I believe being a parent is the closest example we have to relate to Jesus’ love for us. But unfortunately even our own love for our child is not perfect love but rather “human love” and so we miss the mark sometimes and react in a flesh (human) manner and we hurt the one we love the most. For example, maybe you had a bad day at work and then driving home the traffic was terrible and you were caught in road rage and delayed in traffic. And then when you arrived home you stepped on a toy and at that moment your child runs to you full of joy and excitement only to receive “human love” because you reacted instead of receiving their love and so you are left hurting more because you hurt your child, and so then you’re left with condemnation and the feeling of how could God even slightly love you because you made so many mistakes. That is how the enemy works to accuse you and blame you and you’re left viewing God through a “human filter”.

My friend, when this world has left you broken or bitter or angry or disappointed. Or perhaps your own actions have left you feeling unworthy, unlovable etc. remember you are looking to God through “human lenses” and that is not how Jesus loves you. His love for you passes human knowledge. That’s why Paul prayed that the Ephesians would be able to comprehend Jesus’ love for them.

If you are wanting to be able to comprehend the unmeasurable greatness of Jesus’ love for you so that you may be filled with all the fullness of God, simply look to Him and ask Him to give you the understanding to be able to comprehend His great love for you today.

When you are able to comprehend Jesus’ love for you, you will then be filled with all the fullness of God!

Jesus Came To Set You Free

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me (the Messiah), because He has anointed Me to preach the good news to the poor, He has sent Me to announce release (pardon, forgiveness) to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind, to set free those who are oppressed (downtrodden, bruised, crushed by tragedy)” ~Luke 4:18 AMP

My friend, Jesus came to set you free! Whatever need you have in your life, Jesus came to meet that need. What a precious Savior we have! He didn’t come to condemn the world but He came to save it. He came to seek and to save the lost. If you are in need of healing in your body, look to Jesus your Healer. Ask Him to heal that sickness, that disease, and picture it on the cross, where He paid the ultimate price for us so we can walk in complete salvation; nothing missing, nothing broken. Jesus wants you well! Hold tight to that truth, my friend.

If you are in need of freedom from depression, trauma, abandonment, rejection, etc. He came to set you free. He came to heal the brokenhearted. He knows exactly what happened to you, what you went through, and He sees each tear that you have cried. His heart is for you and He only wants to free you from the heavy weight that sits upon you. He wants to replace the pain, the sorrow, with His joy and His love. The Bible says to cast your cares upon Him because He cares for you. (1Peter 5:7) He wants you to give Him whatever it is that you are in need of and He will carry the load for you. He wants to set you free!

I encourage you, wherever you are, to pray this prayer;

Dearest Jesus,

Thank You for coming and dying on the cross for me so I can have complete salvation. I give You my __________________ (sickness, pain, addiction) and I lay it at the cross. I receive Your healing, Your deliverance, Your righteousness, that You paid for me on the cross.

Thank you, that by Your stripes I am healed! Thank You, that by Your blood I am Now cleansed and made righteous! Thank You, that the crown of thorns on Your Head gives me complete Peace in my mind and body. I lay it all down at Your feet and I receive Your freedom, Your healing, In Jesus’ precious Name, Amen.

He First Loved Us

“We love Him because He first loved us.” 1John 4:19

He loved us FIRST! When we have a revelation of His love towards us it becomes almost natural for us to love Him back. God loved you so much that He was willing to give you Jesus and put all of your sins on Him so you can be blameless before Him. Thus allowing you to come boldly to the Father knowing your mistakes, your failures, your sins were paid for through Jesus Christ.

Next time you see Him through a “worldly” filter, feeling unworthy of His love, remember God sent Jesus to give His life for you on that cross because He loves you!

God does NOT show favortism

“For there is no partiality with God.” Romans 2:11 NKJV

Amen! What God does for one person, He wants and will do for you!

Do you ever feel that you’re not able to receive from God because you’re not good enough? Do you ever catch yourself in the lie that God healed that person because He loves them more? Maybe you believe that a certain person was healed or delivered because God chose to free them but He doesn’t choose you. My friend, that could not be farther from the truth!

If you’re a parent of multiple children then you know that you love each child equally. Yes, you may “parent” each child differently, according to their needs, but you do not bless one child and withhold good from another child. You bless ALL your children.

God, our Heavenly Father, is the same way. Actually, He is a far better parent then we could ever be. What He does for one person He wants to do for you! If you need a healing in your life or a breakthrough or any other need, I encourage you to find someone God healed, delivered, or saved and trust in your heart that God will also do the same for you!

Jesus turns towards you

“But Peter said, ‘Man, I do not know what you are saying!’ Immediately, while he was still speaking, the rooster crowed. And the Lord turned and looked at Peter. Then Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how He had said to him, ‘Before the rooster crows, you will deny Me three times.’ So Peter went out and wept bitterly.” ~Luke 22:60-62

Notice how it says, “the Lord turned and looked at Peter”….. and “Peter went and wept”?
When we mess up, our instinct is to run FROM Jesus in shame but He turns towards us.
If you’re struggling with shame and feeling you cannot turn to God because of ______(fill in the blank) that is exactly where the devil wants to keep you; away from God. My friend, Jesus is turned towards you waiting for you to run TOWARDS Him not away from Him!  I encourage you today to run to Jesus and talk to Him just as you would talk to someone who is dear to you and as you talk to Him and share your shame, your pain, your fears, you will begin to feel how close He really is to you and how He desires YOU!

The next time your instinct is to run from God, I encourage you to stop and run TOWARDS God!

Favor

“But let all those rejoice who put their trust in You; let them ever shout for joy, because You defend them; let those also who love Your name be joyful in You. For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous; with favor You will surround him as with a shield.” Psalm 5:11-12

Wow, what a beautiful promise we have in Him! No matter what obstacle you face today, you can ever shout for joy because God defends you. He protects you. We can trust in Him because He will bless the righteous and He surrounds us with favor like a shield. Take a moment and picture God surrounding you on all sides with a big, heavy, metal shield. Each shield is touching the other shield as to not allow any openings. That is how this verse is describing God’s favor surrounding you. You will have favor everywhere you go! You will have favor in everyone’s eyes you come across today. Favor in mans eyes. Whatever obstacle you are facing, REJOICE, because God will defend you and He will surround you with Godly Favor!

HE IS

HE IS….. Let that sentence sit in your thoughts for a moment, HE IS. What does that mean, He Is? It means everything! He Is your friend. He Is your healer. He Is your provider. He Is your peace. He Is your protector. He Is your Savior. He Is your God! What you see Jesus do in the Gospels is exactly who God our Father is! Jesus was a perfect reflection of the Father. When you go to God, remember Who you are going to. He isn’t some distant, hard God. He Is!

He Sees You

Do you ever feel like you are not “really” seen? That others just couldn’t possibly understand what you are going through? Well, that could be the case looking at the physical world, but do you know that HE (Jesus) sees you? And HE knows exactly how you feel! Let’s take a look at the Gospel of Luke, chapter 7.

“When the Lord saw her, He had compassion on her and said to her, ‘Do not weep’.” Luke 7:13 NKJV

Did you know that the Lord sees you? The Bible says He knows your rising up and your laying down. He knows each tear you have cried. He knows your deepest wounds and your hearts desire. He is a compassionate Savior. He wants you to know today that He sees you and He loves you and His arms are outstretched for you to run into. You may be thinking, “Sarah, you don’t know my past. You don’t know what I’ve done.” My friend, what you have done or what has been done to you doesn’t matter to God! He loves you and wants you to know He sees you and has compassion on you! Run to Him today!
